SUMMARY:Arts in the Park Fourth of July Festival
DESCRIPTION:The tradition of Arts in the Park on July 4 will continue in 2024 at Bruce Park in New Martinsville. The Thursday festivities will last from 1-4 p.m. under the sponsorship of the New Martinsville Parks & Recreation Commission and ArtsLink. Don’t forget your lawn chair!! \nCarman Harman will serve again as Master of Ceremonies.  Arts and crafts demonstrations\, along with exhibits by artists and craftspeople from Wetzel and Tyler counties in West Virginia and Monroe County\, Ohio\, will be featured. \nThere will be music throughout the afternoon by the New Age Adenas. The New Martinsville Parks & Recreation Commission will provide frozen treats and cold beverages. The “Lego Play Zone\, sponsored by MPLX” will have an open play Lego area and the “A” will be added to STEM by inviting kids to decorate their own stitch on Lego patch with a huge selection of Lego dots and pieces. (While supplies last). All activities during the day are free. Magnolia Band Boosters food will also available for purchase.
