About ArtsLink

ArtsLink, Inc. is a nonprofit organization dedicated to fostering the arts in Wetzel and Tyler Counties, West Virginia as well as Monroe County, Ohio.  The organization was formed in 2001 and annually schedules programs of high quality art related events including classical music concerts, children’s programs, Shakespearean performances, monthly arts and photography exhibits, Valentines concerts featuring the old standards and annual Fourth of July “Arts in the Park” celebrations.  Mini-grants have been made to local artists to fund special projects and many of the programs have had special presentations for local school  children as well as workshops being held at local schools.  ArtsLink’s Wayward Players have a regular schedule of local performances.

ArtsLink is housed in a building that was donated as a home for the arts to the West Virginia Northern Community College.  A major fundraising campaign was successfully completed to match a $50,000 grant received from the State of West Virginia to bring the Francis Creative Arts Center into compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act.  All contributions are tax deductible.  Renovations are completed, with monthly exhibits and classes held regularly.
